Who are we?

Who are we?

The AdventureU Outdoor Club...

Is student-run TRUSU club, that serves all TRU students across campus.

The club is was created from a strategic partnership between TRU World, the Adventure Studies department and TRUSU.

While our programming incorporates TRU's 5 strategic priorities, our ultimate goal is to to ensure healthy living outdoor activities are accessible to all.

The activities are programmed by Upper Level Adventure Studies students to ensure activities are maximum fun and optimized for safety.

AdventureU Outdoor Club acknowledges that our activities take place on the traditional and unceded territory of the Secwepemc Nation within Secwepemcul’ecw.

We respectfully acknowledge the Secwepemc—the peoples who have lived here for thousands of years, and who today are a Nation of 17 Bands.

Email the Club secretary at  truadventureu@gmail.com for how to get involved, or with general questions on it's operation.

Craig Campbell is the club's Adventure Studies Faculty adviser, and can be reached at ccampbell@tru.ca.

Winter 2018

Final Reporting

I had this great opportunity, to go out with the AdventureU Outdoor club to the Wendy Thompson Hut, an alpine cabin near Whistler. If you really want to do something cool and get a life join the TRU AdventureU club. You will realize there is a lot more in life than books! One of the best memories I ever had.
